Purdue Grand Prix

The Purdue Grand Prix provides a venue for students to exercise their engineering skills, knowledge and enthusiasm. The Grand Prix foundation focuses its fundraising efforts to provide scholarships to students.

The Grand Prix Foundation consists of a President, an 11 member Senior Board, a Junior Board consisting of over 30 members, track workers, and safety and security workers. The foundation is a university sponsored student organization that is run by students, for students. The primary purpose of the foundation is to raise around $10,000 in annual funds for student scholarships. Besides focusing primarily on scholarships, the Grand Prix Student Ambassadors Program selects individuals from the student body to represent the spirit of Grand Prix throughout the school year in the local community.

Purdue Student Government

Serving as the primary representative organization of the undergraduate student body, Purdue Student Government seeks to act as a liaison between the Purdue University administration, governmental authroities, and the student body in order to serve the needs of Purdue students and to enhance the student experience at Purdue University.

In support of this mission, Purdue Student Government is dedicated to:

• Conducting all business with the utmost professionalism and consideration
• Encouraging initiatives that address the concerns of the student body and future prosperity of Purdue University and Purdue Student Government
• Defending the rights, interests, and voices of the student body

Purdue Foundation Student Board

Purdue Foundation Student Board (PFSB) is a group of interdisciplinary students that act as ambassadors for the University Development Office. PFSB seeks to promote a culture of philanthropy on campus, whether it be through the time, talent, or treasure of our peers. We assist and run events like Purdue Day of Giving and host alumni and donors at football tailgates and President's Council Annual Dinner. PFSB is always looking for new members with servant leadership characteristics and a passion for philanthropy.

Rising Professionals

Founded three years ago, Rising Professionals is one of the most honored and rewarding experiences that Purdue University has to offer. The Rising Professionals program unites distinguished young alumni with current students to inspire the pursuit of the full Boilermaker experience, by embracing tradition of the Old Masters program. The program looks to emphasize the Boilermaker experience as the foundation of success, honor the accomplished Rising Professionals, and develop young future leaders through engagement with Rising Professionals. Old Masters

Since 1950, Old Masters has been a long-standing Purdue tradition that invites a group of ten successful and outstanding individuals back to campus in order to connect with the Purdue student body.

To Purdue students and faculty, an "Old Master" is a Purdue alumni or a friend of the University that has made exceptional contributions in his or her field, and is willing to come back to campus to share how Purdue has shaped them and their career.

You can become involved in Old Masters by becoming a host. As a host, your job will be to escort your assigned Old Master throughout the 3-day program, including taking him/her to classroom talks, campus-wide panels, and alumni dinners.

The Old Masters Program typically takes place at the beginning of November, along with our campus-wide panel, Evening with the Old Masters. Evening with the Old Masters is an opportunity for all Purdue students to have the chance to come hear all ten of our amazing Old Masters share their wisdom.

Mortar Board

The Barbara Cook Chapter of Mortar Board at Purdue University is a senior honor society dedicated to the pillars of scholarship, leadership and service.

Dance Marathon

Purdue University Dance Marathon is a philanthropic organization dedicated to raising funds and awareness for pediatric cancer research at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. Consisting of 23 executives, 53 chairs, roughly 650 committee members, and over 1400 "dancers," PUDM is the largest student-run organization at Purdue. In addition, PUDM ranks in the top 10 of over 350 collegiate dance marathons nationwide.

PUDM stands out by giving students the chance to run every aspect of a 1.1 million dollar plus nonprofit. Our committees include corporate partnerships, Riley relations, High School Marathon Relations, PR, Media and Design Productions, and many more.
