Research in the John Martinson Honors College

Purdue is a world-renowned public research university. The John Martinson Honors College (JMHC) aims to equip our students with research skills that prepare them to be world ready. JMHC students pursuing research, systematically and critically analyze an idea or a problem, explore effective methods to understand it, communicate it to others using evidence, and make contributions to disciplinary or interdisciplinary fields. As a part of the JMHC curriculum all students must complete a scholarly project (research or other scholarly or creative arts activity). Our students will have multiple opportunities and pathways to engage in research experiences with Faculty across Purdue University who are committed to inclusive and robust mentorship. JMHC students will receive announcements about mentored research opportunities through the Scholarly Project Milestones Brightspace page which also contains relevant information and modules about the crucial steps in developing their undergraduate research.
