Our mission is to create and foster well-rounded, well-educated global leaders. We work to create student leaders on campus who impact society from their very first semester. Our four pillars, or primary tenets, come together to help us accomplish this mission:

MEET THE DEAN

Dr. Felisa Higgins

Dr. Felisa Higgins earned her Ph.D. in industrial engineering from Purdue, a master’s in industrial engineering from Florida State University and a bachelor’s in industrial engineering from Florida A&M University.

A globally engaged scholar and expert in supply chain management, she brings to Purdue years of experience and impact spanning both academia and industry, including a long stint with consumer products company Kimberly-Clark and its Latin American Operations. Her excellence in teaching has also been amply recognized through multiple Penn State awards, such as the George W. Atherton Award for Excellence in Teaching and the Smeal College's Fred Brand Jr. Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching.

This July 4, we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence, and we honor our country’s persistent pursuit of freedom and innovation.

Today marks the beginning of a new chapter for Purdue. 🚂 

As Mitch Daniels begins serving as interim president, he shares a message with the Purdue community and his thoughts on the opportunities ahead. 

Daniels also shares the following note to the Purdue community: “While the sudden need for an interim president came as a surprise to us all, the friendly encouragement I've received from across the Purdue community convinces me we can move through this interval without any loss of momentum. Please accept this video as my thanks for all the gracious messages I've received, and Boiler Up!”

Scott Tingle has traveled to space himself, spending 168 days in 2017-18 aboard the @ISS. 🚀 

Now the @Purdue.ME alum is choosing who will follow in his footsteps. As @NASA’s chief of the astronaut office, Tingle is responsible for selecting crews for future spaceflights.
