As a residential college that seeks to educate the whole student and to bridge the gap between curricular and extracurricular learning, Purdue's Honors College follows holistic criteria in selecting students for invitation to membership. While high grades and high scores on standardized tests are certainly important factors, the selection committee will also consider a student's potential for interdisciplinary learning, campus and community leadership, and engaged citizenship. The Honors College hopes to draw curious, motivated, and dedicated students who want to be a part of a diverse community of scholars.
Students applying to Purdue are automatically considered for the Honors College. Current Purdue students and admitted transfer students who wish to join the Honors College must complete the application located here.
