Scholarly Project Symposium

Curious what your fellow students are doing to fulfill their scholarly project? Come see what they've been working on and support those in your community. This symposium will feature 3-4 graduating seniors, from a variety of majors, discussing their work. Not sure where you're going with your project? This is a great opportunity to generate ideas and see examples of the type of work that fulfills this scholarly requirement.

England: Place and Story Call Out

In this course we will explore the entanglement between geography, place, and narrative. As we visit multiple destinations in England, we will ask: how do spaces provoke certain kinds of stories? In doing so, the course will encourage students to consider the landscape of narrative‚ where are stories set, and how does their setting infect the plot maneuvers, the characters, and the language/tenor of a text?
