Greetings Alumni, Families and Friends,
When a student joins our scholarly community, they are joining a support network that will last a lifetime. We believe that strong connections between Honors College alumni, families, and friends, will help enhance student success and further our mission to create the next generation of global leaders. We hope to keep you informed about the student experience and the many ways you can get involved in this growing, vibrant college. In fact, the Honors College has just launched its Alumni Network where alumni and friends can foster and maintain these important bonds.

Torch Club and Torch Ambassadors
When your student joins the Honors College, you are immediately welcomed into our Torch Club. Designed exclusively for family members of our stellar students, the Torch Club provides quarterly newsletters to update you on the Honors College and your student’s experience. Each issue will feature upcoming leadership opportunities, descriptions of Study Away trips, student spotlights and features, information about prestigious scholarships and awards, and ways you can connect and engage with the college.
We also encourage you to consider signing up for Torch Ambassadors. This parent/family group works closely with Dean Phillips to build our scholarly community. Members are asked to share input on ways the Honors College can provide an amazing experience for students. Click here to sign up. You can view archived parent/family newsletters here.
